I am Joshua (Jaewon) Jeon, a Korean immigrant who graduated from Pacific Academy. Growing up, I thought my path was clear—I would become an engineer, just like my father. But as I tried to follow in his footsteps, I realized something important: the passion he felt for engineering didn’t spark anything in me. I kept searching, exploring different directions, unsure of where I truly belonged. It wasn’t until I reflected on what energized me the most that I found my answer: my passion comes from serving others. I realized that the moments when I could help, support, and uplift people were the moments I felt most alive. Alongside this, I realized that living with humility, prioritizing others and leading through service, is more than just a goal; it is a guiding principle for who I strive to be. This insight has shaped my journey and continues to inspire the path that God is establishing for me today.
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” - Mark 10:45
